Hospitality Network, LLC (Hospitality Network) is leading the way in system design, installation and management of IP-based Video-On-Demand systems. The benefits of an IP-based system include enhanced features and customization, greater audio and picture quality and high-definition content.

AVAILABLE DIGITAL FEATURES:
Digital Video-On-Demand — Digital benefits include high MPEG-2 quality picture, digital surround sound audio, HDTV capability and DVD-like functionality including pause, rewind, fast-forward and bookmark.

High Definition Video — Digital video in high definition can be streamed to the guest room in MPEG-2 high definition formats in 16:9 widescreen or 4:3 standard TV format aspect ratios, and resolutions up to 1280 x 768. Audio for high definition is encoded in Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound.

Digital Art/Screen Saver — The system can contain galleries of digital art accompanied by various genres of digital music, which can be displayed as the television screen saver.

Personalization — The system can support a “Welcome” line with the guest’s name as part of the guest definition message, as well as deliver special content and messaging based on a specific code.

Multiple Language Support — English, Spanish, Japanese and many others.

Television Turn-On — Upon check-in, the guest room televisions can be turned on to the screen saver mode
and revert to the custom “Welcome” screen with guest name once any key on the remote is selected.

Laptop Internet — Guests may connect their laptop to the same broadband network that is
delivering the video entertainment. The interface to the guest laptop will be a standard
100 mbps Ethernet interface via CAT5/6 cable or Wi-Fi.

Future Applications — An IP-based system has the most inherit flexibility for
integration of future applications such as VoIP telephony, advanced e-commerce
capabilities and guest customization.
